He actually valued it to the point that he would opt to fly in a helicopter every day, in order to avoid traffic, so that he could spend more time with his wife and daughters. Each of us can certainly appreciate this admirable effort by Mr. Bryant, and could use our own time “fix” to liberate our schedule in order to spend more time with those that we love.

Though our schedules can be hectic, unpredictable and busy, there are tricks that can help us hack the challenge of time.
Reducing our television and social media consumption will allow for us to have additional time to spend with our family. The average individual spends about 144 minutes per day on social media and about 25 hours per week watching television. Reducing our screen time can increase our quality time with those that matter to us most.
Also, planning ahead, though seemingly daunting for some, can actually allow us to have more hours to spend together as a family. Using a calendar – be it digital or physical – is the best way to know of our upcoming events and set in times that are non-negotiable. This way, when things arise during the week, we can work around our pillars, without sacrificing time with those that we love. Therefore, having a planner is another quick fix to cutting down unnecessary usage of quality time and organizing our schedule in such as way that the priorities in our lives are valued appropriately.
