Every day, between midnight and noon - particularly from sunrise to noon – we awake to the most opportune moment to change our life. The morning. Beyond being the official first part of the day, it is, more importantly, your chance to set the tone for the rest of your day – and quite literally the rest of your life.

Of course, the night may have been unforgiving, however, the morning always offers those who choose to be optimistic in their rise, a chance to see the blessing of life – and subsequently the opportunity within the new day. According to modern studies, people are more likely to make healthy choices throughout the day if they start it with self-care and other positive behaviors. This is why we often take any opportunity we have to say “good morning” to one another. Between us, “morning” is as much literal as it is metaphorical.  It means the start of every day, in as much as it means a fresh start altogether. Though we sleep, the energy of life never stops, and the pattern which weaves through sunset to sunrise continues as we come up. Most advisors remember the first time they heard a fellow advisor say, “good morning”. Whether it was during the afternoon, or at night, it often was certainly well past the common context in which one would normally use the phrase. Though seemingly bizarre, there the phrase warms up to us the more we use it and becomes a mantra. Indeed, at Greatway Financial, we believe that saying 'good morning' is much more than a greeting reserved to display etiquette. Moreover, the phrase symbolizes more than good wishes to the receiver of the warm expression.
